ARRA RACE TO THE TOP

In his inaugural address, President Obama said:

We’ll restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders to raise health care's quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. All this we will do.

Now is the best time to bring Project Lead The Way (PLTW) to your school. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)—signed into law in early 2009—will provide states with more than $58 billion in education funding before spring 2010.

PLTW meets all necessary requirements for funding and can assist your school or district to prepare an application for ARRA funding. These funds can help expand an existing PLTW program, or implement one for the first time.

Share this important information with those responsible for securing ARRA funds at your school.
